Registrations for the Proud to Play NZ Tournament OPEN!
The inaugural Proud to Play NZ tournament in Aotearoa New Zealand will take place in Auckland over 13 – 20 February 2016.
Proud to Play NZ features over 11 sport competitions, and registrations opened today.
The Beginning
On Thursday 3rd September 2015 GLISA AP notified us that the sporting, cultural and human rights event planned for February 2016 could not be branded as the “Outgames”. The volunteer lead team in New Zealand, quickly gathered to decide how we should proceed and we were all very excited about continuing with plans to deliver a LGBT+ event in February 2016.
